Order alerts
Why Use Alerts?
Alerts help you quickly identify orders that exhibit specific behaviors. For example, you can flag:
Orders not claimed by candidate stores after 12 hours.
Orders prepared but not shipped after 24 hours.
Alerts are based on the Order Lifecycle, making them extremely flexible and powerful. You can configure alerts on any entity you find relevant—whether it's an order, parcel, line item, or more.
Viewing the Alert List
To access the alerts configuration, go to Configuration > Orders > Alerts. Here, you'll find all configured alerts. Click on an alert to view its details and settings.
Creating a New Alert
To set up a new alert, start by creating a draft. Once the draft is in place, you can define the alert's properties.
Key configurations include:
Intuitive Naming: Copy the translation key from the detail view popup and translate it in the BackOffice Translation page.
Entity Selection: Choose the entity the alert applies to.
Trigger Timing: Set the duration before the alert activates, with distinct values for testing and production environments.
Consulting an Alert's Configuration
From the order page, you can access an alert’s detailed configuration by clicking the edit button that appears when hovering over an alert counter. This allows for quick adjustments and fine-tuning of alert settings.
By leveraging alerts, you gain better visibility into order statuses, ensuring smoother and more efficient order management.
