Backoffice is a powerful, highly customizable tool.

Items

The configuration of item page is divided into:

1. Compact view

2. List columns

3. Filters

4. Detailed view

Compact View

Features to display in the compact view of the item. Either features or fields at the root of the item can be displayed. The value of features will be the one of the "feature language" selected by the user (can be modified in the profile section). In this case, it must be prefixed by features. .

Either features or fields at the root of the item can be displayed. The value of features will be the one of the "feature language" selected by the user (can be modified in the profile section). Formatting can be set for each, check out formats to view the detailed list.

Filters

Available filters are language features, currently indexed, and sales channel's price. Language feature filters will be applied using the “feature language” selected on the user's profile page.

Detailed view

Details of an item that can be viewed or edited when clicked on. There are 3 sections, which match the 3 tabs in the detailed view. For more information about formats refer to: formats

Formats

In the columns and detailed view, configuration consists on a set of field and format couples. Filters and compact view configuration consist in a set of fields. When a format can be set, by default the text format is applied. Available formats are:

• Text

• Number

• Select: the filter value must be selected from a drop-down list. Only one value can be selected. When editing, if the value you want to assign is not available, it can be added (risk of typing error). By default, the available values are all those indexed for the site, if the feature is not indexed, no value will be present in the list. In this case, it is possible to indicate a list of values to be displayed (Default options) which will replace the list of values retrieved by default.

• Multi-select: the filter value must be selected from a drop-down list. One or more values can be selected. When editing, if the desired value is not available, it can be added (risk of typing error). By default, the available values are all those indexed for the site, if the feature is not indexed, no value will be present in the list. In such a case, it is possible to indicate a list of values to be displayed (Default options) which will replace the list of values retrieved by default.
