OIS - Payment management
📟 Transform any device into a mobile point of sale
OneStock's Order in Store Payment Management feature allows you to transform any device with a web browser into a powerful mobile point of sale (mPOS). With this functionality, you can easily handle immediate captures and two-step payments, including authorization and capture, making it suitable for any payment process scenario.
OneStock provides a simple yet powerful workflow that allows you to quickly get started with a default payment workflow. We have tailored this default workflow based on our vast experience to match the needs of most retail payment scenarios. However, if you have specific requirements, you also have the flexibility to customize the workflow to meet your unique needs.
Two-step payment processing (authorization and capture)
This process involves first authorizing the client's credit card to ensure its validity and the availability of sufficient funds. Once the order is fulfilled, you can then capture the funds for the amount due at a later time.
Why use the Authorization and Capture ?
📦 Operational Flexibility: By aligning the payment process with the order fulfillment, you can ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. Performing an authorization initially blocks the funds on the client's account, and capturing the funds upon order fulfillment allows for better synchronization between payment and delivery.
💰👮 Risk Management: The Authorization and Capture process helps mitigate risks associated with fraudulent or invalid transactions. By validating funds upfront, you can take appropriate action if any issues arise, ensuring a secure and reliable payment experience for both you and your clients.
⚖️ Regulatory Compliance: In the United States, some companies require payment services to handle authorization and captures. By using our Order In Store Payment Management, you can ensure compliance with these regulations and avoid any potential legal complications.
