Backoffice allows managing stock location through Stock location page.
All stock locations set on the site are accessible on Stock location list page and displayed in a list.
Stock locations properties are accessible and can be modified in their Stock location detail page.

Stock location list

Stock location list page displays all stock locations.
Properties menu is accessible by clicking on Properties button.
Properties menu allows to set properties displayed as columns and to change order of columns. Drag and drop properties in order to change its order.
Changes of properties are not saved
Default properties are defined in the Parameter page. Default properties are saved and shared to all users. It is not possible to define specific layout to some accounts.

Multiple stock locations can be selected by clicking on their checkbox.
All stock locations can be selected by clicking on the Select all button.
Stock location selection can be modified by clicking on Modify button.
A unique stock location can be modified by clicking on it.

Stock location creation

To create a new stock location, navigate to the Stock Location module within the OMC. The process is streamlined to ensure efficiency and ease of use, reflecting the system's commitment to enhancing operational workflows.

The fields displayed during stock location creation are determined by configurations set under Configurations > Backoffice > Stock Locations > Stock Location Information > address_info.

Key Features

  • One-Click Creation: Users can initiate the creation process with a single click. An intuitive form is presented, incorporating options like country selection for convenience.

  • Geolocalization: Automatically computed based on the provided address. However, it can be adjusted post-creation if necessary.

  • Timezone Assignment: The system automatically assigns the timezone based on the address entered. This too can be modified afterwards if required.

  • Initial Configuration: New stock locations are set up with an empty calendar and no active modules by default. This approach prevents premature activation and ensures configurations are completed first.

  • Customizable Display Fields: The fields displayed during stock location creation are determined by configurations set under Configurations > Backoffice > Stock Locations > Stock Location Information > address_info.

  • ID Suggestion: The system suggests an ID based on the name given during creation, which can be customized to meet specific needs.

Stock location details

Properties

Information related to an stock location is displayed on its Stock location details page.
Details of the stock location are set through Parameters page.
Location of stock location is displayed in a Google map. Use Google map interactions to navigate in the map.
Information like name, contact info, address, location and timezone can be modified through Modify stock location details popin by clicking on Modify button.
Some location details may need to be not overwritten by update feed. This can be performed by clicking on Lock buttons of these details in Modify stock location details popin.

Properties tab displays modules and tags related to the stock location.
Only modules set on site are available. Modules can be activated/deactivated.
Tags available are only the one set on site. Only manual tags can be modified.
Dynamic tags are calculated by system and can not be modified.

Ship From Store : If enabled, the stock location can ship parcels when they have stock

With Ship from Store it will be able to claim, pack and dispatch parcels.

Click and Collect (fulfilled from collection store) : If enabled, the stock location can provide parcels when they have stock

With Click and Collect it will be able to claim, bag and collect parcels

Click and Collect : If enabled, the stock location can be the collection store

With Click and Collect it will be able to receive and collect parcels

Reserve and Collect : If enabled, the stock location can be a reservation point

With Reserve and Collect it will be able to bag and hand in parcels

Appointments : If enabled, the stock location can provide a calendar view and review customer information to prepare a future meeting

With Appointments it will be able to book a meeting with a client or get customer information

Catalog : If enabled, the stock location allows to create orders
