Overview

Backoffice allows managing stock location through Stock location page.
All endpoints stock locations set on the site are accessible on Endpoint Stock location list page and displayed in a list.
Endpoints Stock locations properties are accessible and can be modified in their Endpoint Stock location detail page.

Stock location list

Stock location list page displays all endpointsstock locations.
Properties menu is accessible by clicking on Properties button.
Properties menu allows to set properties displayed as columns and to change order of columns. Drag and drop properties in order to change its order.
Changes of properties are not saved
Default properties are defined in the Parameter page. Default properties are saved and shared to all users. It is not possible to define specific layout to some accounts.

List of endpoints stock locations can be filtered.
Text elements in properties displayed in the list can be used as filter by putting them in the search text input.
Navigation into pages is performed by clicking on Previous Page and Next Page button.
Others properties can be used as filter (like type, enabled module or disabled module) by clicking on Filter button.
List of endpoints stock locations can be sorted by a property by clicking on the title of its column. List will be sorted by alphabetical/numerical order. Order can be reversed by clicking on the title of the column.

Multiple endpoints stock locations can be selected by clicking on their checkbox.
All endpoints stock locations can be selected by clicking on the Select all button.
Endpoint Stock location selection can be modified by clicking on Modify button.
A unique endpoint stock location can be modified by clicking on it.

Stock location creation

To create a new stock location, navigate to the Stock Location module within the OMC. The process is streamlined to ensure efficiency and ease of use, reflecting the system's commitment to enhancing operational workflows.

Key Features

• One-Click Creation: Users can initiate the creation process with a single click. An intuitive form is presented, incorporating options like country selection for convenience.

• Geolocalization: Automatically computed based on the provided address. However, it can be adjusted post-creation if necessary.

• Timezone Assignment: The system automatically assigns the timezone based on the address entered. This too can be modified afterwards if required.

• Initial Configuration: New stock locations are set up with an empty calendar and no active modules by default. This approach prevents premature activation and ensures configurations are completed first.

• Customizable Display Fields: The fields displayed during stock location creation are determined by configurations set under Configurations > Backoffice > Stock Locations > Stock Location Information > address_info.

• ID Suggestion: The system suggests an ID based on the name given during creation, which can be customized to meet specific needs.

Stock location details

Properties

Information related to an endpoint stock location is displayed on its Endpoint Stock location details page.
Details of the endpoint stock location are set through Parameters page.
Location of endpoint stock location is displayed in a Google map. Use Google map interactions to navigate in the map.
Information like name, contact info, address, location and timezone can be modified through Modify stock location details popin by clicking on Modify button.
Some location details may need to be not overwritten by update feed. This can be performed by clicking on Lock buttons of these details in Modify stock location details popin.

Properties tab displays modules and tags related to the endpointstock location.
Only modules set on site are available. Modules can be activated/deactivated.
Tags available are only the one set on site. Only manual tags can be modified.
Dynamic tags are calculated by system and can not be modified.

Modules

Ship From Store : If enabled, the stock location can ship parcels when they have stock

Click and Collect (fulfilled from collection store) : If enabled, the stock location can provide parcels when they have stock

Click and Collect : If enabled, the stock location can be the collection store

Reserve and Collect : If enabled, the stock location can be a reservation point

Appointments : If enabled, the stock location can provide a calendar view and review customer information to prepare a future meeting

Catalog : If enabled, the stock location allows to create orders

Planning

Planning tab displays standard schedule on a “default” week.

Opening element are calendar elements that set endpoints stock locations as opened.
Exclusion elements are calendar elements that activate or deactivate properties of the endpoint stock location like claiming capability.
Drag Opening or Exclusion from the left side of the calendar and drop it into the calendar to add it.
Calendar elements can be moved inside the calendar. Duration of elements will remain.
Calendar elements can be modified through Edit event pop-in.
Edit evenevent pop-in can be opened by clicking on it. Duration of elements can be set.
For exclusion, properties of endpoint stock location (like claiming capability) can be activated or deactivated.
Edit event pop-in allows to delete calendar elements.
Multiple calendar elements can be at same time.
Click on Save changes button to take changes into account

Carriers tab displays information related to carriers set on site.
Information are credentials that will be used by endpoint stock location for shipping.

When multiple endpoints stock locations are selected, Endpoint Stock location details page allows to modify them all in once.

If elements are equals among all endpointsstock locations, their value will be displayed.
If not, they will be displayed as NOT DEFINED, and can be modified on all endpoints stock locations :

• For properties, click on its switch button to force ON, OFF or NOT DEFINED state

• For manual tags, click on Modify button to clear content and overwrite it.
  Modification can be cancelled by clicking on Cancel button.

• For planning,

  • Content is available only if all endpoints stock locations are in the same timezone.

  • Opening hours will be displayed only if all opening hours are similar

  • Exclusions will be displayed only if all exclusions are similar

  • Modification/adding of calendar elements are similar as in one endpoint Endpoint stock location Stock location details page.

• For carriers:

  • Carrier is available only if all endpoints stock locations have it

  • Click on Modify button to clear content and overwrite it.
    Modification can be cancelled by clicking on Cancel button
